Exhibit? Me?It was February of 2018, and I was a new Columbia College Chicago Student, and next door to the design building as a little shop called "Shop Columbia", and outside the window was a sign that was calling for work for an upcoming exhibit called "March of the Miniatures", and this exhibit called for artists to make art that was no bigger than 8x8 inches. As a new student, I jumped on the chance to be in an exhibit, and I got to work.

The Process
While the idea of making art for this exhibit was fresh in my mind, I pondered on it while I was eating, and this gave me a flash of inspiration-- I should art on something I love: Food! I digitally painted these with images of food for reference, and I got them approved for the exhibit.
The Exhibit
The exhibit itself was a great experience! I went to the opening night of the exhibit, and it stayed up for a month. Many other students exhibited their art as well, and I look forward to submitting to the future Shop Columbia exhibits!
